Inventory Control Specialist - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible for the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Reconciling cycle counts of all parts and materials.
  • Maintaining bin accuracy and precise counts for both inside and outside bins.
  • Tracking and recording heat numbers for all jobs and production orders.
  • Input of correct counts of material and parts into ERP system.
  • Verifying all material and parts are returned including counts, part numbers, and checking for damage.

Production Control Coordinator - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible for the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Processes MRP jobs.
  • Reviews and updates operations in the ERP system.

Payroll Specialist - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible for the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • In conjunction with the other payroll staff, performs all payroll related processing for exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Works with company locations and personnel as required ensuring accurate payroll processing.
  • Reviews payroll for completeness and accuracy. Ensures the computing, withholding or deductions associated with net pay is completed properly.
  • Approves journals to balance accounts.

NDT Level II Ultrasonic (UT) Inspectors - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develops an understanding of the Company’s quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes.
  • Performs all inspection functions to the requirements of ANST SNT TC-1A for a UT and/or MT Level II NDT Inspector.
  • Conducts in process and final ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and visual weld inspections of manufactured steel products in accordance with the AWS D1.1 code.
  • Verifies and maintains inspection and test status of product during all stages of manufacturing, including receiving, in-process, final, and shipping.
  • Verifies rework and repair of nonconforming products.
  • Attends daily start-up meetings to review production schedule and receive daily job assignments.
  • Initiates requests for corrective action on observed conditions which do not conform to quality system requirements.
  • Prepares and reviews Quality records appropriate to inspection and test activities to assure legibility, completeness, and correctness of the information.
  • Uses various dimensioning tools such as tape measures, combination squares, levels, etc. when conducting dimensional inspections, and UT inspection tools such as UT Machine Avenger EX, transducers, straight beam, Shear Wave Resolution, MT Yoke, etc.
  • Visually inspects all manufactured parts (or a representative number) to ensure they are manufactured per the drawings/specifications.
  • Inspects pole sections that have been painted or galvanized as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related documents ensuring correctness of all documents.
  • Ensures that customer requirements are determined and met, with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Cross trains in other areas of the Quality Department and assists other areas as needed.
Requirements: Successful candidates will a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with certification as a NDT Level II UT and MT Weld Inspector with at least 1-2 years recent experience working in Quality Control in a welding/manufacturing environment. Design Engineer Supervisor - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Reviews tower and foundation design reports that have been prepared by pre-Engineering, and Engineering Associates.
  • Ensures that program output is accurate and meets the requirements of the specifications/proposal, and that foundation designs are appropriate for the soil information received.
  • Monitors designs for any errors or inefficiencies that may arise in the design programs, and recommends corrective action to the appropriate people.
  • Performs tower and foundation designs, when necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Responds to internal and external questions, including 3rd-party reviews and jurisdiction plan check comments. Prepares sealed letters in response to these inquiries, when required. Keeps up-to-date on the requirements of each state, as they relate to tower designs.
  • Gives technical advice to the Engineering Associates, pre-Engineering, Sales and Estimation as necessary to prepare accurate tower and foundation designs.
  • Determines appropriate actions and advises Contract Administrators regarding any fabrication or field issues that arise.
  • Assists in responding to customers with technical advice.
  • Advises the Chief Engineer regarding any changes that need to be made to daily procedures and processes.
Requirements: Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineering license, and 4 years recent engineering experience. Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of tower and foundation engineering, especially related to the TIA 222 standard. Must have strong attention to detail, as the final authority for tower and foundation designs. Must have the ability to react quickly to issues that arise, in a way that ensures structural integrity and maximum possible benefit to the Company. Ability to handle a large number of projects and meet frequent short deadlines is required. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Human Resources Generalist - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

Welders - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individuals will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manually positions pole assembly into pole rollers for welding.
  • Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine proper location of attachments, as well as weld size and configuration.
  • Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides feet, inches, fractions, and decimals.
  • Uses oxy-fuel torch to pre-heat parts to be welded in accordance with published welding codes and specifications
  • Uses GMAC or FCAW welding process to weld small components or assemblies.
  • Works in confined areas at various locations on the small pole assembly line as necessary to weld components.
  • Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
  • Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill carious size holes on pole assembly as required by drawings and specifications.
  • Visually inspects work to identify material discrepancies and to ensure that welds have been completed in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
  • Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size.
  • Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules.
  • Assists fitters in assembly as needed.
  • Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finder to measure distances and angles.
  • Uses oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch to cut steel.
  • Operates assembly line conveyor system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on band saw and for fitting.
  • Operates band saw for cutting tubular shafts according to specifications.
Requirements: Candidates must have a mathematical aptitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Basic knowledge of shop mathematics to include: addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and decimals is required. Must be proficient in reading complete prints, specifications and have the ability to use different types of measuring devices and gages.

Educational Requirements:
Successful candidate will a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 3 years of previous manufacturing experience.
