HR Business Partner

Responsibilities:
  • Processes new-hire paperwork
  • Provides functional leadership and support in the areas of human resources administration, employee relations, performance management and training
  • Acts as a point of contact to management and staff in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures through both day to day contact and by providing training and development such as New Hire Orientation and Performance Management
  • Conducts exit processes

Accounting Specialist

Production Scheduler

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the production schedule
  • Prioritize all jobs and distribute accordingly
  • Regulate the production schedule, as required, to handle special jobs
  • Reschedule jobs as necessary when production problems or sudden high priority situations are encountered
  • Enter data from shop drawings on all or new revised parts into programs for the angle lines

Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience working in a production environment

Design Engineer Associate

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and designing new towers and foundations
  • Designing foundations based on soil information received and consulting with Professional Engineers to determine appropriate foundation types
  • Analyzing existing towers for revised loading and determining required modifications if needed
  • Completing structural modification designs for quoting purposes
  • Coordinating modification designs with internal employees, consultants and contractors to complete proposals
  • Applying structural engineering principles (steel, concrete, and soils) to designs
  • Providing manual calculations to verify computer-generated results, when necessary
  • Working closely with in-house Professional Engineers to develop the Associate's engineering skills

Requirements:
  • Ability and desire to learn all of the technical details of industry standards, and apply them to engineering procedures in order to design safe and efficient structures
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have full attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a team environment
  • Must have working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel

Sr. Buyer, Purchasing

Responsibilities:
  • Successfully negotiate purchases of required materials and supplies
  • Utilize an ERP/MRP system to review material requirements and on hand inventory to maintain efficient levels of stock and material coverage for job requirements while optimizing inventory levels 
  • Expedite and track purchase orders with suppliers to insure on time deliveries
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers
  • Establish VMI programs while leveraging purchasing power
  • RFQ commodities on a regular basis
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend potential new opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements
  • Manage rejected materials with suppliers and quality control
  • Maintain total cost of ownership through supplier terms and conditions, including decisions with logistics
  • Work within a team environment to coordinate projects/materials between departments
  • Gain thorough knowledge of commodities within a given timeframe

Requirements:
  • 5+ years recent purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the steel industry
  • Strong and effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with suppliers

  • Must contribute to the success of the team

Construction Estimator

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in product knowledge, its applications and all job related functions
  • Manage multiple sales regions with a thorough understanding of specific customer needs
  • Assure accurate estimates by gathering specifications, drawings and related documents for complete project information
  • Compile project costs by analyzing project details using company computer hardware and software
  • Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information in order to detect problems with costing methods, assumptions and procedures
  • Present prepared estimates to the Regional Sales Manager by assembling and organizing numerical and descriptive cost information in a format approved by the company
  • Aid assigned Regional Sales Managers by facilitating customer requests and addressing questions or concerns via customer phone call, email or facsimile
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, cleanliness and organization of assigned work area

Systems Administrator (IT)

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day to day administration of various systems and applications in the Sabre Datacenters. Helpdesk support of everyday PC support issues, customer service skills are a must.
  • Maintain network and supporting systems, Exchange server & Proxy server administration, daily backups and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain user account information (rights, security and system groups).
  • Install new software applications or hardware, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage, providing items to be covered in training of users for efficiency.
  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users.
  • Code, test and document new applications/patches.
  • Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain and review security policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience administrating windows servers and systems in a datacenter environment
  • Must have experience in the administration of Microsoft Active Directory: Permissions, security, Group Management/creation, etc.
  • Must have experience with the Windows Server Platform (2008-2012) and Windows 7 and 2012 workstation
  • Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
  • Must be able to perform scheduled on-call duty
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013 is a plus but not required
  • Experience with VMware is a plus but not required
  • Experience with NetApp SAN is a plus but not required
  • Experience with CISCO UCS is a plus but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to support end-users. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting. Proven ability in documentation and setup structures.

Sr. Structural Detailer

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares detail and assembly drawings, bills of material, and design layouts based on engineering specifications.
  • Checks the accuracy, technical content, and adherence to instructions and tolerances on all drawings and the adequacy of design layouts.
  • Corrects or supervises the revisions of drawings and bills of material.
  • Releases projects to the production floor after drawings have been corrected and/or revised.
  • Trains new personnel.
  • Assists with supervising the work of other drafters involved in producing required drawings.
  • Troubleshoots errors that occur in the shop during fabrication or in the field during installation.
  • Informs drafting personnel of new drafting standards and procedures and assists in the creation of new drafting standards and policies.
  • Confers with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality Control on design implementation of drawings.

Requirements:
  • Successful candidate must possess an Associate's degree in Architectural Construction Engineering or related field, along with 5-10 years' experience in a technical and administrative capacity.
  • Candidates with experience in designing and detailing self-support and guyed towers are preferred.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly operations, material and other related manufacturing processes.
  • Must be analytical with creative problem solving capabilities.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, along with strong time management skills.
  • Candidates must have working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, or Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
