  • Assures accurate estimates by gathering specifications, drawings and related documents for complete project information.

Senior MRO Buyer - Sioux City, IA Apply

Safety/Environmental Manager - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety federal, state, local regulations and company policies.
  • Performs Risk Assessments with all departments to determine the potential hazards of new processes and ensures that all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, along with industry standards, (ANSI, NFPA, ACGIH) are followed.
  • Manages MSDS Program for materials used, received and/or processed at the facility.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred. Must have a minimum of 8 years experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental experience, preferably in steel manufacturing along with a minimum of 3 years supervising a staff as well as the function. Successful candidate will have a strong background in training employees, supervision and management in all areas of EH&S. Welder/Fitter - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individuals will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Using the Flux Cored Arc Welding process to tack weld various small components to round or formed shafts to make a pole assembly for the welder to weld.
  • Working in large pole department at individual fitter station to assemble pole assembly.
  • Assisting material handler in loading round tube or formed shaft on individual fitter station.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings to determine parts needed to assemble pole assembly.
    • Locating and gathering staged parts needed for assembly from parts staging area.
    • Reading and interpreting drawings to assure proper location of various small part attachments.
    • Layout various locations on round tube or formed shaft based upon interpretation of drawings and specifications.
  • Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finders to measure distances and angles. Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing feet, inches, fractions, and decimals. Using table to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.
  • Using plasma torch and oxy-fuel torch to cut steel.
  • Moving around round tube or formed shaft as necessary to get into proper position to accurately measure and assemble components described above including standing on elevated platform when necessitated by the size of the shafts.
  • Using motorized grinders, motorized buffers, stone grinders, and drills to help assemble pole assembly according to prescribed specifications, codes and drawings.
  • Finish welding various products of the unit to keep the product moving through the large pole department in a timely manner. Reads and interprets weld symbols.
  • Welding of other products in other areas, using either Flux-Cored Arc Welding or Gas Metal Arc Welding process.
Requirements: Successful candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent along with 3 years recent manufacturing experience, preferred. Must have AWS Certification for specific Flux Core Welding operations. Must have knowledge of basic shop mathematics and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, while contributing to the success of the team. Must possess the ability to read complex prints and specifications, and have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Shipping Quality Control Inspector - Sioux City, IA Apply
Responsibilities: Qualified individual will be responsible for performing quality checks on all materials being processed for orders, verifying that the correct part number and quantity of material matches the pick ticket, and that there are no defects in the craftsmanship of the material. Qualified individual will also transport loads safely and securely to and from designated sites.   • Reviewing and designing new towers and foundations.
