Inventory Control Specialist

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Reconciles the cycle counts of all parts and materials
  • Maintains bin accuracy and precise counts for both inside and outside bins
  • Tracks and records heat numbers for all jobs and production orders
  • Inputs correct counts of material and parts into Epicor
  • Verifies all material and parts are returned including counts, part numbers, and check for damage
  • Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in area of operation
  • Contributes to team effort by communicating and working well with others, as well as accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of recent inventory control or warehouse experience, along with forklift operating experience

Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Supervises Truck Load and LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments domestically and internationally
  • Helps negotiate rates with carriers to obtain the most cost-effective transportation price
  • Helps facilitate RFI's and RFP's and provides analysis and recommendations
  • Acquires rate quotes for all types of shipments upon request of all departments, locations and customers
  • Solves transportation problems, communicates solutions and administers solution implementation to internal and external customers, including Sales, Shipping, Inventory Control, Contract Administration Operations and transportation providers
  • Conducts on-going analysis for freight expenditures to determine opportunities for cost reductions and services improvement
  • Develops and maintains departmental reporting and key performance indicators (KPI's) around costs, efficiency and service that support continuous improvement and attainment of all transportation performance objectives

Requirements:
  • Three years in a related field
  • Must have experience using PC Miler, Internet and Streets and Trips
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry is critical (Truckload, LTL, container, domestic and international)
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have the ability to operate general office equipment such as a telephone, scanner, copier, printers and 2-way radio
  • Prior TMS (Transportation Management System) experience is a plus

  • Successfully negotiate purchases of required materials and supplies
  • Utilize an ERP/MRP system to review material requirements and on hand inventory to maintain efficient levels of stock and material coverage for job requirements while optimizing inventory levels 
  • Expedite and track purchase orders with suppliers to insure on time deliveries
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers
  • Establish VMI programs while leveraging purchasing power
  • RFQ commodities on a regular basis

Construction Estimator

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in product knowledge, its applications and all job related functions
  • Manage multiple sales regions with a thorough understanding of specific customer needs
  • Assure accurate estimates by gathering specifications, drawings and related documents for complete project information
  • Compile project costs by analyzing project details using company computer hardware and software
  • Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information in order to detect problems with costing methods, assumptions and procedures
  • Present prepared estimates to the Regional Sales Manager by assembling and organizing numerical and descriptive cost information in a format approved by the company

Systems Administrator (IT)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day to day administration of various systems and applications in the Sabre Datacenters. Helpdesk support of everyday PC support issues, customer service skills are a must.
  • Maintain network and supporting systems, Exchange server & Proxy server administration, daily backups and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain user account information (rights, security and system groups).
  • Install new software applications or hardware, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage, providing items to be covered in training of users for efficiency.
  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users.
  • Code, test and document new applications/patches.
  • Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a monthly basis.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience administrating windows servers and systems in a datacenter environment
  • Must have experience in the administration of Microsoft Active Directory: Permissions, security, Group Management/creation, etc.
  • Must have experience with the Windows Server Platform (2008-2012) and Windows 7 and 2012 workstation
  • Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
  • Must be able to perform scheduled on-call duty
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013 is a plus but not required
  • Experience with VMware is a plus but not required
  • Experience with NetApp SAN is a plus but not required
  • Experience with CISCO UCS is a plus but not required

Construction Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manages site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective workforce utilization.  Develops plans that are appropriate, comprehensive and effective in the scheduling of crews and subcontractors for the successful completion of work. 
  • Provides crews, site supervisors and subcontractors with required documentation to complete jobs and tasks effectively including, but not limited to – work orders, scope of work, construction drawings, bill of materials, customer timelines; and customer required status and closeout documentation requirements.
  • Accountable for jobs and tasks being completed on time with high quality.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of general administrative work including daily reports, safety reports and pre-construction meetings.
  • Communicates oral and written information accurately, concisely, and in a form appropriate to the target audience.
  • Consistently strives to create, develop and implement additional procedures, systems, programs, and processes aimed at continuous improvement, quality, and customer enhancement.

Successful candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Business, along with 5 plus years recent general construction and construction management experience. Candidates with experience in the communication tower construction industry are preferred. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while contributing to the success of the team. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft office products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must be able to travel and stay overnight up to 75%, and have the ability to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to the elements of nature under normal construction conditions.

Sr. Structural Detailer

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares detail and assembly drawings, bills of material, and design layouts based on engineering specifications.
  • Checks the accuracy, technical content, and adherence to instructions and tolerances on all drawings and the adequacy of design layouts.
  • Corrects or supervises the revisions of drawings and bills of material.
  • Releases projects to the production floor after drawings have been corrected and/or revised.
  • Trains new personnel.
  • Assists with supervising the work of other drafters involved in producing required drawings.
  • Troubleshoots errors that occur in the shop during fabrication or in the field during installation.
  • Informs drafting personnel of new drafting standards and procedures and assists in the creation of new drafting standards and policies.

Requirements:
  • Successful candidate must possess an Associate's degree in Architectural Construction Engineering or related field, along with 5-10 years' experience in a technical and administrative capacity.
  • Candidates with experience in designing and detailing self-support and guyed towers are preferred.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly operations, material and other related manufacturing processes.
  • Must be analytical with creative problem solving capabilities.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, along with strong time management skills.
  • Candidates must have working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, or Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Manages all aspects of subcontractor relations (qualification, negotiation, selection, evaluation, performance, etc.).
