Shipping Quality Control Inspector

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
Qualified individual will be responsible for performing quality checks on all materials being processed for orders, verifying that the correct part number and quantity of material matches the pick ticket, and that there are no defects in the craftsmanship of the material. Qualified individual will also transport loads safely and securely to and from designated sites. Other responsibilities include ensuring material conforms to customer requirements for packaging and labeling, photographing of all packaged and staged materials prior to shipments, and other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Requirements:
Successful candidate will have 2-3 years recent experience working in a warehouse environment. Candidate must be able to read and interpret shipping schedules and demonstrate the ability to identify errors and apply corrective action to remedy the error. A current valid CDL-A license is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and contribute to the success of the team.

QC/Site Safety Auditor

Responsibilities:
Qualified individual will be responsible to perform the following duties.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develops and implements a site safety audit program to include, but not limited to the following elements: Random audits of both in-house and subcontracted crews with regards to overall climber safety and general fire safety
  • Functions as a direct contact between the Company and the field.
  • Ensures that subcontractors are conducting the proper training requirements as per the OSHA standards.
  • Conducts random jobsite and work area inspections and completes reports noting safety and/or quality violations.
  • Participates in regular meetings to brief the staff on safety or quality issues on the projects and to keep informed of the progress of the job.
  • Participates in project pre-planning meetings, to ensure that safety is part of all work plans.
  • Understands and enforces OSHA and other federal, state and local standards as well as Company subcontractor safety polices for the purpose of establishing a safe work environment on all projects.
  • Performs quality inspections of overall installation.
  • Reviews sub-contractors work and inspects materials provided by suppliers in the field.
  • Prepares and transmits daily QC/QA reports to include photos and a daily narrative of project activities.
  • Attends pre-construction meetings.
  • Communicates on-site needs and concerns to the project manager.
  • Identifies contractor concerns and communicates the concerns to the project manager.

Requirements:
Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or other related field, along with a 5 years experience in wireless communications construction, environmental or remote site experience. OSHA 30-Hour certification is required, and Tower Safety & Construction certification is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be familiar with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Candidate must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work effectively under minimum supervision and have strong attention to detail. Must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel 90% of the time.

Welder - STP

  • Prepare materials for fabrication of welded products.
  • Form welded products by being welder certified for all materials and procedures.

Construction Estimator

Responsibilities:
  • Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists for tower construction projects.
  • Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work; preparing bids; selecting vendors or subcontractors; and determining cost effectiveness.
  • Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.
  • Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.
  • Analyzes completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
  • Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
  • Identifies cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.

Requirements:

Certification with the ASPE is preferred, but not required. Inventory Control Specialist

  • Reconciling cycle counts of all parts and materials.
  • Maintaining bin accuracy and precise counts for both inside and outside bins.
  • Tracking and recording heat numbers for all jobs and production orders.

DBA Administrator

  • Designs logical and physical databases or reviews description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics such as location, amount of space, and access method).
  • Establishes physical database parameters.
  • Codes database descriptions and specifies identifiers of databse to database management system or directs others in coding database descriptions.
  • Calculates optimum values for database parameters such amount of computer memory to be used by database.
  • Specifies user access level for each segment of one or more data items such as insert, replace, retrieve, or delete data.
  • Specifies which users can access database and what data can be accessed by user.
  • Tests and corrects errors and refines changes to database.
  • Enters codes to create production database.
  • Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance such as distribution of records and amount of available memory.
  • Works with networking teams and developers to make changes to database mangement system.
  • Reviews and corrects programs.
  • Trains users.
  • Answers user questions.
  • Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other system and staff cost for making changes to database.

Requirements:
Successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  A minimum of 5 years hands on experience with MSSQL DBA, and high availability/disaster recovery designs for MSSQL is required. Prior experience with Epicor (Vantage) is preferred.  Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced multi-disciplined environment with strong attention to detail and be able contribute to the success of the team. Candidates must be flexible with work hours on an on-call basis, including weekends.
